Pete began his career as a letter carrier on September 1988, at the Clifton Post Office.  Pete immediately took an active role in Branch 38, and advised his fellow carriers whenever management violated their rights.  At the request of the carriers in his office, he became a shop steward in 1998. In 2002, he wasunanimously elected chief steward of the Clifton office, representing over 100 carriers.

Throughout the years, Pete has held many positions with Branch 38 such as Route Examination Observer, OJT Instructor, and Safety Representative.

Pete was appointed Sergeant-At Arms by NJ Merged Branch 38 President Robert Borganoni in 2006 and has held that position ever since.  On January 1, 2013, he was appointed by President Pete Maglio to be Part-Time Area Representative.  Later that year, Pete was elected to the position of Executive Board Member of the New Jersey State Association of Letter Carriers.  Pete graduated from Arbitration Advocate Training in February 2015, and has been utilizing that training to further represent Branch 38 members as one of our excellent advocates.

Pete was elected by acclamation to the position of Full-time Area Representativ, assuming that position in January of 2019. He is a staunch advocate for the NALC Health Benefit Plan, and chairs the Branch 38 Letter Carrier Political Fund committee.

Pete currently lives in Ringwood NJ with his wife Maggy. They have been married since 1995, and have three childre; Jessica, Adam and Ryan.
