Mark first joined the Postal Service in 1987 as a letter carrier in the Secaucus Post Office.  He has filled many positions with the NALC over the years.  Those positions include Alternate Shop Steward, Shop Steward, Route Examination Observer, OJT Instructor, Branch 38 COLCPE Coordinator, and Part Time Area Representative.  Mark was selected by NALC President Bill Young to attend the first Leadership Academy.  He graduated from Arbitration Advocate Training and is currently a replacement Dispute Resolution Team Member.
